ELIGIBILITY: By participating in this program, each party consents to Monroe Community Credit Union (MCCU) identifying them, by their first name and last initial, as a member of MCCU for the purpose of advertising the sweepstakes winner. MCCU employees, MCCU Board of Directors, and volunteers, and those living in their household are not eligible to win. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter. The sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Member account(s) must be in good standing to win. TIMING: The contest begins at 12:01 a.m. EST on Friday, January 3rd and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 5th, 2025. PRIZE: The odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Prize value is $250. There will be one (1) winner at the end of the promotional period. The winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries on February 6th, 2025, and will be notified by phone. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of MCCU. Once notified, the winner will have 5 business days to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within 5 business days, a new winner will be randomly selected. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants accept and agree to be unconditionally bound by the rules and decisions of MCCU, which shall be final and binding on all entrants. HOW TO ENTER: New Membership Entry: To enter online and submit a testimonial on why you are MCCU’s biggest fan, please visit: www.monroecommunitycu.org/LionsGiveaway. To enter in person, you may visit any MCCU branch location to fill out the testimonial form. Free Mail-In Method: To enter the sweepstakes without opening a new membership, hand print your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers, and email address on a piece of paper and mail it to MCCU in an envelope, with proper postage, to: “Monroe Community Credit Union Biggest Fan Sweepstakes, c/o Marketing Department, 715 N. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48162.” Each mail-in entry shall be a “Mail-In Entry.” Only one Mail-In Entry is permitted per member, per envelope. Only qualified Mail-In Entries not disqualified by MCCU under these Rules will be eligible for the Sweepstakes. All Mail-In Entries must be received by MCCU no later than 11:59 PM on the last day of the Sweepstakes period to be considered eligible. MCCU is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, damaged, postage-due, or illegible Mail-In Entries. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery of a Mail-In Entry. Once submitted, Mail-In Entries become the sole property of MCCU and will not be acknowledged or returned. GENERAL CONDITIONS By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements and the decisions of MCCU which are final and binding. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to the use by MCCU and its designees of their names, cities and states of residence and photographs/likenesses and voices for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the internet) without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that MCCU may contact entrants for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes only. All materials submitted, including Entries, become the sole property of MCCU and will not be returned. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless MCCU, all of their respective employees, directors, vendors, and assigns (collectively “Releases”), from any injuries, losses, damages, claims and actions of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, non-use or misuse of the Prize that may be awarded.
